The CENTEX (Center of Excellence in Public Elementary Education) program supports the Department of Education by providing holistic learning and development opportunities for students and professional training for teachers.
The CENTEX Training Institute (TI) offers Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-accredited training and mentoring programs to public school teachers. The training component focuses on best practices in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics while the mentoring component provides guidance on instructional methods through individual and group discussions.
The CENTEX Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program supports daycare teachers, students, and families in fostering a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
CENTEX Digital Education uses the global High Touch High Tech framework which combines the unique strengths of teachers (High Touch) with advanced technology (High Touch) to deliver personalized learning opportunities to enhance numeracy and mathematics skills of elementary school students.
CENTEX began with two schools in Manila and Batangas with the goal of supporting bright children from economically disadvantaged families, honing their confidence and competencies not just inside the classroom but also through after-hours learning in the performing arts and other skill-building activities.
